These classes will be suitable for learners that are currently in Year 9 and will begin their GCSE studies in the next academic year, or learners in Year 10 that need consolidation.
The classes will reinforce the key learning from Key Stage 3 and focus on giving learners a strong educational base so that they can move confidently into their GCSE studies.
We will also look at some of the new learning that will be introduced in the GCSE course, so that the learners will be at an advantage when they come to see these topics in High School.
The classes will be delivered in 50 minute sessions daily from Monday to Friday for ten sessions over two weeks during the month of August.
Learners will complete an assessment to identify their strengths and areas for development and will be grouped with learners of similar ability to ensure maximum progress.
